It has never been easier to access reliable health information. However, distinguishing between scientifically accurate "good" information and unscientific "bad" information can be challenging, particularly when it comes to vaccines.

In an ongoing effort to provide the public with comprehensive information on the science, safety, and significance of vaccines, the Vaccine Education Center at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (VEC) developed Vaccines on the Go: What You Should Know. This resource enables busy parents to conveniently access crucial information whenever and wherever necessary.

Vaccines on the Go: What You Should Know covers a range of topics, including:

<ul>
 <li>Vaccines and the diseases they prevent</li>
 <li>Recommended immunization schedules for children, teens, and adults</li>
 <li>Vaccine safety concerns, addressing issues like autism, thimerosal, and vaccine quantity</li>
 <li>An explanation of how the immune system functions, detailing responses during infections or in immunocompromised individuals</li>
 <li>Disease and vaccine insights relevant to travel, featuring descriptions of cholera, Japanese encephalitis virus, typhoid, and yellow fever</li>
</ul>

Additional features encompass:

<ul>
 <li>Graphics illustrating disease characteristics such as contagiousness levels and disease progression timelines</li>
 <li>Links to informative vaccine videos, encompassing animations on viral cell attacks, maternal antibodies and immunizations, among others</li>
